Business at the Banking Hall
Characterised by historical charm and sophistication, The Banking Hall has a lasting legacy in Pershore. The Bank House held several banks for centuries. Our team carefully renovated this grade II listed building to create an upscale events space. We added important features to make the venue wheelchair accessible and to provide air conditioning. The venue is even soundproof, providing privacy for more confidential corporate events. We can host up to 120 guests or 80 guests for seated meals. We can even provide some stationary for attendees to take notes during your event.
The Banking Hall features technology carefully chosen to enhance events. Our 85” television screen is connected to our sound system and can connect to laptops and USB drives. We can provide a lapel microphone for speeches and presentations. All attendees can access free WiFi throughout the venue. For an additional personalised touch, create the perfect ambience with custom multicoloured LED lighting.
The Banking Hall is situated within The Bank House in central Pershore. For those travelling by road, Pershore is a 10-minute drive from M5 junction 7. Free parking is available on-site. Pershore Train Station and Worcestershire Parkway are close by, and there is a bus stop immediately opposite The Banking Hall on the Evesham-Worcester route.
We can create a dedicated space for performances or activities in our Banquet Hall. Our Events Manager is here to help you organise your event, and can even provide a list of recommended performers and vendors. You can choose to access the venue early to set up for your event. Our team can arrange the furniture however you choose to create the ideal seating formation.
Our kitchen team provide an exceptional catering service for events at The Banking Hall. We offer buffet-style meals or formal sit-down meals with full table service. We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements and preferences. Our Head Chef can even assist you in creating a bespoke menu for your event. The team use only the best locally sourced ingredients, including produce from our own farm.
The Banking Hall features a private bar, creating an ideal environment for networking and socialising. Our mixologists can create a wide range of drinks. You can even request a signature cocktail ahead of time, or have us stock up on your favourite bottles.
The Bank Manager’s Office is an additional space at The Banking Hall. It has a capacity for up to 12 people seated for a meeting or a meal. Alternatively, the space can be used as a VIP room or for private meetings.
The Angel Inn Hotel is just next door. The Banking Hall is part of The Angel, and our guests are welcome to make use of the twenty luxurious guest rooms here. We also offer self-catering cottages, built in 2023. These are a fantastic option for those who prefer privacy and self-catering.
The picturesque environment surrounding The Banking Hall provides a natural setting for breaks or outdoor activities. We have a beautiful courtyard garden equipped with its own bar and facilities. Our riverside garden meets the River Avon, creating stunning views. We have private moorings on the River Avon for those who choose to arrive by boat.
