The Banking Hall is located in the charming market town of Pershore. This little town in Worcestershire has a rich history. The British Council for Archaeology listed Pershore as a “Gem Town” worthy of historic preservation. Many Pershore properties, including the Banking Hall, feature Georgian architecture. The impressive Pershore Abbey dates back to the 11th century, with some structures still standing today.
The Banking Hall is within The Bank House, on Pershore’s High Street. This Early Georgian, Grade II listed property is filled with character and charm. The historic Capital and Counties Bank opened its Pershore branch here in the 19th century. This bank was one of the first to create a network of branches across the UK. For over 100 years, the property has been home to a series of banks. We have chosen to preserve and celebrate the building’s history by naming our venue the Banking Hall.
Throughout 2021, we carried out major renovations to the Banking Hall. Formerly operating as a bank, the property needed maintenance work and modernisation. Our team have gone above and beyond these necessary improvements to create something spectacular.
With meticulous attention to detail, we created an elegant design for an events space. This new design incorporates luxury while maintaining character. The committed construction team spent several months transforming the property. As a result, the former bank in need of upkeep has become a stunning, modern, welcoming events space.
